During the yellow-vented bulbul nesting season, if you’re lucky, you may spot a fluffy little thing following an adult bulbul around – that’s a juvenile bulbul! Baby (technically juvenile, but we think of them as babies 🙂 ) bulbuls are generally browner than their parents. The corner edges of their beaks are yellow and the brown patch on the tops of their heads isn’t as dark as their parents’. After the previous rather sad post on a pair of bulbuls’ failed nesting, here are some adorable pictures of those who did survive the pouncing predators and devastating downpours 🙂 (they were taken quite a while ago in May 😛 )
